Payment Information

A deposit is taken to confirm your booking. The deposit amount is your total preview session cost. If you do not wish to book a preview session, the deposit amount is 20% of your total fee.

Payment of the deposit is your agreement to these Terms and Conditions.

Your wedding date is confirmed only once your deposit has been received.

Once the deposit is received you will receive a confirmation email.

The deposit is not adjustable once the booking is confirmed.

The remaining balance is due two weeks before the wedding date. You will receive a reminder for this.

Payment is accepted via direct bank transfer.

Once the full balance has been paid, it is non refundable.

Travel is charged at 45p a mile from my address in Newport, South Wales and the same for the return journey.

Parking costs are chargeable to the client.

Travel is calculated at the time of booking. Road distances are calculated using an online journey planner.

Destination Weddings

Travel costs and other costs incurred will be discussed and agreed, between myself and the client.

Cancellations for services booked where travel and/or accommodation expenses have already been paid for by myself and are non-refundable by the travel/accommodation provider(s) will incur full reimbursement from the client for the travel and/or accommodation costs paid.

Cancellation

In the event of cancellation by the client, the deposit cannot be refunded. Clients are liable to pay for all services received. Please notify me by email of your request to cancel your booking. If the booking is cancelled after the full balance has been paid, no money will be refunded.

If your wedding is postponed and I am unavailable, the deposit is non-refundable. However, the deposit can move across to the new date with no extra charges if I am available.

In the very unlikely circumstance that I need to cancel your booking due to unavoidable circumstances (fire, natural disaster, death, serious illness, family tragedy) all money will be repaid to the client. I am responsible only for money paid, and not for other costs that incur as a result of the inconvenience. I will try and arrange cover from another artist in this circumstance, however, I cannot guarantee this. If I take the decision to cancel due to reasons such as inappropriate or abusive behaviour, you will not be entitled to a refund.

I reserve the right to cancel the booking due to reasons such as a condition that may pose a risk to the clients health or well-being.

If the client does not provide an address for the wedding date when prompted, or confirm an arrival time, and I cannot complete the booking due to lack of communication, money paid will not be refunded. Furthermore, if payment is not received on time, I reserve the right to cancel your booking without refund of the deposit.

Preview Session Information

Preview Sessions are held at my address in Newport, South Wales. You will be advised of my availability by email.

During busy periods it might not always be possible to schedule your preview session at the weekend, particularly Saturdays.

If you were not happy at the preview session with your hair/makeup please contact me to discuss and resolve. If we cannot find a resolution and you choose not to go forward with your booking please inform me of cancellation via email.

If a second preview session is requested, the same fee applies as for the first session.

If more than one extra guest is attending the preview session with the client, please inform me in advance so everyone can be accommodated.

Allergy/Medical Information

It is the receiver of hair and makeup services responsibility to inform me of of any allergies, medical conditions, or any other reasonable adjustments as well as any other potential issues.

Any skin condition or allergy should be reported (this can be done via the bridal questionnaire form, via email and in person) before the service begins, for all persons receiving hair and makeup services.

Client(s) and anyone receiving hair and makeup services agree to release me from liability for any complications/conditions due to allergic reactions, medical conditions or other issues.

I reserve the right to stop/not carry out a hair/makeup service for any Contra-indications such as but not limited to: Coldsores, Headlice and any other Contra-indications.

Photographs and Videos

Photographic/Video images of the client, members of the booking or event may be used on social media and for promotional purposes unless the client has withdrawn their consent in writing. Even if you have withdrawn consent to images being posted online, images will need to be taken for my personal record, these will not be shared with anyone else/any third party. Professional pictures/videos from the photographer may also be sourced and used online and on social media unless the client has withdrawn their consent in writing.

First names may be mentioned on social media /online and for promotional purposes unless the client has withdrawn their consent in writing.

Wedding day Information

Individual/Strip Lash application is complimentary with each booked makeup service. No discount is applied if the client declines lashes.

At the end of your hair and makeup being completed on your wedding day, I will check if you are completely happy and if you're not I will change anything (with in reason) required. No money is refundable after the wedding date.

Privacy Policy

How is your personal information used?

The information that is collected is used to fulfil any services (e.g. processing your payment information and booking confirmations).  Additionally, I use this Information to:

  • Communicate with you

  • Provide you with information

Your personal information will not be shared with any third party.

Data retention/Data protection

When you book my services, I will maintain your information for my records unless and until you ask for the information to be deleted. You have the right to request this at anytime.

This privacy policy may be updated in the future for legal or regulatory reasons. Data protection laws and regulations will always be followed.
